What To Expect When Visiting Us in Darlington

Our Darlington office has one entrance at the front of the building. The front doors are open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm. Our drop-in sessions run from 10am-12pm.
The entrance is fully accessible with a front door followed by an automatic door. Once you’re inside, reception is on your left.​​

You’ll be asked to fill out a registration form which asks for:
• Your details (your name, address, phone number, email address, etc.)
• Background details (who you live with, if you have health conditions, ethnicity, etc.)
• Details about what it is you need help with
• Consent to store your details
Once this is done, hand it back to reception and take a seat while you wait for an adviser.
It can be busy and noisy during our drop-in sessions. You may have to sit close to other people.

​When an adviser is ready to see you, they will call your name and take you to an appointment room. Appointment rooms are generally small and private.

The adviser will sit by the door and you will sit facing them. You can bring someone with you if you would like to.
The adviser will talk to you about the issue you are having. The adviser will ask you questions so they can give you information to try and help. They may book you an appointment to speak to a specialist worker.

Lift to First Floor

There is a lift that can be used to access the first floor.
Some ground floor appointment rooms have steps to reach them. There is a small lift that can be used to access these. Your adviser will be able to assist you with this.

What to Expect When Visiting Us in Redcar and Cleveland

Our Redcar office has one entrance which is via the large front door. During our drop-in sessions, the door will be open. If the door is closed, use the call button to the right of the front door to speak to a member of staff.​​

We also have an accessible entrance. Use the call button and a member of staff can help with this.

Once you are in the entryway, go through the door on your right to enter the waiting area. Here you can take a seat and wait to be seen by an adviser.
